How to use Sugar Ants Borax

To find sugar ants parading in your house is not a pleasant experience.  But, sugar ants may invide everybody’s house, especially a house where sugar and other sweet foods available. When you find sugar ants, what you need to do is to eradicate them as soon as possible, that’s mean that you have to kill a colony of sugar ants.  You can use borax, or boric acid in another name.

You can find borax / boric acid easily.  It is legal thing that you can find in every chemical store or medicine shop.  Borax is much more safely to be used as pesticide.  However, it is not recommended to be use around children and pets area.  You still must be careful to use borax to kill the sugar ants.

Things You will need are borax (boric acid), sweetened syrup and business card.

Method:

Mixing

Mix a half teaspoon of borax (boric acid) into 3 tablespoonfuls sweetened syrup.  Make a prefect blended liquid than place the mixture on to business card.  Make sure that you place sufficient borax liquid.  Not to place too much bait on that.

Placement

Place the business card on sugar ants trail to make sure sugar ants find it easily.

Monitoring

One sugar ants find the borax liquid, what you need to do is to monitor the effect of the liquid to this household pest.  The first thing what you need to know is wheter sugar ants like your recipe or not.  Sugar ants will not like your borax liquid if you mix too much borax into it.  Secondly, if the sugar ants like it, make sure that they have enough bait to be brought into their nest.  Refill if it needed.

Clean up the bait and sugar ants trail.

You will not see sugar ants anymore in two days after the bait placement.  Make sure you clean up the borax bait and the sugar ants rail with a damp paper towel.
